Abdulaziz Bin Musa'ed Economic City

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the Abdulaziz Bin Musa'ed Economic City on the 13th of June 2006 in the Ha'il Area, in the north of the Kingdom. The City covers a total area of 156 million square meters and will cost a total cost of 30 billion Saudi Riyals to build. The project will provide about 30,000 jobs for youth in the Ha'il region, which will in turn double the Gross National Product. When completed, the City will serve as an important economic statement and its unique and strategic position will enable it to become an important part of the integrated regional transport and logistical system. The city will have an international airport, a railway and a land-port.
