King Abdullah Sports City

Located in the northeast of Jeddah province and established by royal decree in 2009 it is due for completion in 2014. The project is comprised of unique sport facilities that will raise sporting ability in Saudi Arabia. With several halls and training grounds that feature modern technologies, the facilities entail a qualitative shift in the Saudi sport landscape. With it unique design and 60 thousand spectator capacity, the 3 million square meter grounds will host local, regional and international sporting championships that meet FIFA standards. 
HD monitors and TV studios overlook the site, which also includes as assortment of well-known global and local restaurants and business, a separate Olympic training ground, indoor sport halls that accommodate 10 thousand spectators, festival and conference halls, a large mosque, sporting academies and car parks capable of accommodating up to 8,000 vehicles. Construction is taking place around the clock, with those in charge of the project guaranteeing the quality and efficiency of the development.
