This automated traffic management system covers the major cities of the kingdom and is composed of modules for operation, management, tracking, guidance, monitoring and reporting. These various sub-systems are linked to control and command centers in eight cities across the Kingdom.
The purpose of the project is to improve the level of traffic safety, by utilizing the latest advances in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) to safeguard the traffic environment, enhance the efficiency of the existing road system, boost public security by using the most recent monitoring systems and ensure accurate management of traffic systems.
