Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission

It was established based on Cabinet Resolution No. (334) dated 06/25/1439 AH, and it enjoys public legal personality and financial and administrative independence, and is organizationally linked to the Prime Minister. It aims to regulate activities, practices and facilities that involve the peaceful and safe use of nuclear energy and ionizing radiation, and to protect humans and the environment from any actual or potential radiation exposure, including exposure to natural radiation.
