This Regulation aims to lay out the essential requirements of the abovementioned paints and varnishes, included in the scope of this Technical Regulation, and to identify the conformity assessment procedures with which the suppliers shall comply with, to ensure that these products fulfil the essential requirements that aim to preserve the environment, and the health and safety of the consumer.
