More than 1000 Charity Societies and Entities have been electronically linked through Al-Khair complementary project so that all their activities can be followed up on the unified portal relating to endowments.
The Linking process which is the first of its kind all over the Middle East Region has been completed after 327 Social Private development Committees in the kingdom have been added to the website: www.gg.org.sa
The Project is envisioned to simplify the process of donations to be online through the project’s website in addition to following the Charity Societies projects and activities.
The General Manager of Al-Khair complementary project eng. Ahmad bin Abdullah Al-Rajhi, pointed out that the Project helps donators to know about existing charity projects so that they can specify each of them to which they desire to direct their donations.
He stated that the project’s idea appears in utilizing latest technologies in managing charitable works and activities relating to the Ministry of Social Affairs. The project is an electronic system to which all charitable societies are linked where donations can be managed and activated through different channels of payments such as (Visa, Master Card) in addition to SADAD system and SMS, he elaborated.
He indicated that the Project has planned to completely document all donations and projects details in addition to all other documentary materials to be attached within the programs under execution to be then easily accessed via e-Archive whenever needed.
The project has sought to issue periodic strategic reports contributing in achieving the Ministry’s future vision and message relating to Charity works which will help much in decision making and formulating integrally executive and strategic plans for the future, he said.
