Riyadh - The Saudi Red Crescent Authority will participate in the 56th session of the Middle East Regional Committee, an affiliate of The World Health Organization (WHO).
The meeting will be held in Fez, Morocco, on Monday, with the participation of the representatives of the member states and observers from the UN and UN's development program, some specialized agencies in addition to representatives of the international governmental and non-governmental organizations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority will be represented at the 4-day meeting by Authority's Acting President Fayez Al-Ahmari and Director General of information and
awareness Ahmad Baryan.
The participants of the meeting are scheduled to review a number of topics including the preventive strategy against cancer and means of improving the performance of hospitals.
