Emir of Makkah Inspects flooded areas in Jeddah

Jeddah - Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah paid an inspection tour yesterday with Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah, the secretary of Jeddah governorate Adel Faqih,  and Director General of Civil Defense Lt General  Saad Al-Tuwaijri to a number of areas and quarters in Jeddah that recently have been damaged by floods and rains.
He also asserted in a press statement quoted by Saudi Press Agency , after the tour that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Second Deputy Premier have paid their keenness to Jeddah after the disaster of the floods, explaining that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has directed to provide all possibilities to the committees which set up to serve and assist those affected by the floods in terms of their shelter, housing and payment of the subsidies to enable them to live like anyone else in this country in comfort and safety.
Prince Khalid expressed his sadness regard the effects of floods and damages in Jeddah, stressing that natural disasters occur in all parts of the world and that what happened should be regarded in a rational and impartial view, expressing his sympathy with the families who lost their sons and daughters by this disaster.
