E-media: Jeddah. The Vice-chancellor of King Abdulaziz University Dr. Osama bin Sadiq Tayyib, will tomorrow launch the electronic tests project of the University at the Ceremonies Hall and the Conferences Center. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Director of Curriculums Unit of the University Mohammed Riyadh Arafah said that the University took this step to implement the e-tests and prepare a guide for the faculty on how tests and evaluations will be carried out objectively. Dr. Arafah stressed the importance of e-tests for students and for the faculty, that the e-tests are good in time management because the student does not need to turn various paper pages but he will have only one question on the e-page to answer. As for the faculty, the director said that the e-tests make it easy for them to have Questions Bank which will help in upgrading the curriculum in addition to the fact that they will not need to collect papers at the end of the test. These e-tests also make it easy for the Supervisors to verify the identity of the student.
