Riyadh health Affairs Launches E-government Services At Primary Health Care Centers

Riyadh. In its endeavor to transform all paper transactions to electronic transactions in all Sections and Departments of the Ministry of Health in Riyadh, the Health Affairs Department in the city has launched an e-government program in its Primary Health Care Centers. According to Riyadh newspaper, the Director General of Health Affairs in Riyadh Dr. Hisham Nadhirah while testing the efficiency of the program at Ghadeer Primary Health Center, stressed that the new program includes all patient's data and allows the administrative and medical personnel to access it easily and in record time. The Director General added that the program which has been applied as part of the strategy of the Ministry of Health, will raise the efficiency of all health structures and improves the quality of their services, and it also increases their ability to attend to a greater number of patients. The Director General concluded that the program is capable of easing the work of the technical and medical personnel in addition to follow up the stages of treatment, disease history and the cause of the disease adding that the program also allows for greater capabilities in maternal and child care, child vaccination and in cases of chronic diseases.
