Shura recommends formulating a central Agency to have IT morals standardized

Riyadh, eMedia: Majlis Al-Shura called for formulating a central Agency to be dedicated for standardizing moral and social contents of IT in Saudi Arabia. This came within the session held last Monday presided over by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Alsheik, Head of Majlis Al-Shura. This session discussed the report of the Cultural and Media Affairs Committee regarding recommendations supposed for standardizing moral contents of Information technology in Saudi Arabia. The report focused on bad principles of diablerie and black art that can be spread through such IT media. It confirmed that such media should be well operated not to disseminate criminal tendencies in the community. The cultural and media committee confirmed that reports indicate dangerous levels of such problems especially for children. It appreciated the efforts made by the Concerned Agencies in this regard, emphasizing at the same time the necessity of having a central Agency to unify all efforts made in reference to morals and social principle relating to IT.
