King Abdullah receives US President

London --The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, received President Barack Obama of the United States of America at the King's guest residence at ExCel International Conference Center in London on Thursday evening.
During the meeting, they discussed the efforts of the two friendly countries within the framework of international efforts being exerted to revive the global economy for overcoming its current crisis, for restoring its trend towards growth and for preventing the continuation of the problems facing by it.
According to SPA, the two leaders also discussed the developments of events at regional and international arenas, particularly the situation in Palestine and the necessity for achieving a just and comprehensive peace that ensures the Palestinian people the setting-up of their independent state on their national soil, in accordance with the resolutions of international legitimacy and Arab Peace Initiative.
They also commended strong relations binding the two countries and their continuous developments so far since the meeting between late King Abdulaziz and former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, stressing the importance of promoting these ties in a way serving the interests of the two countries and their peoples.
The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Adel Al-Jubeir.
