Saudi Arabian Airlines availed a service of purchasing air tickets through SADAD where the settlement amount is to be deducted directly from the traveler's bank account via ATM. The service includes also the possibility of purchasing through credit card by visiting Saudi Arabian Airlines website www.saudiairlines.com in addition to issuing border tickets electronically. This service will be activated on 3/5/2010 to be firstly implemented on a gradual basis for local sectors and then executed for all other sectors.

Director General of Saudi Arabian Airlines pointed out that travelers who have their tickets previously paid and reserved can now print border tickets electronically 48 hours before departure as per the rules and conductions stated on the website. Following some simple steps and filling in all information required, the traveler can easily utilized this electronic service in few minutes, he said. This service is one of the development electronic projects envisioned to simplify travelling procedures.
