Preparations for 1st International Conference on Urban Heritage

Riyadh (SPA)- Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdul-Aziz, The Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (STCA) held a meeting on Sunday at the Commission's headquarters in Riyadh. During the meeting, they discussed preparations for the First International Conference on 'Urban Heritage in Islamic Countries to be inaugurated in Riyadh on April 18-23 by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. The Conference will be organized by SCTA in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs (MOMRA) in addition to The Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA), a subsidiary of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).
