Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the musical operetta of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture for this year is cancelled in solidarity and standing with the brotherly Syrian innocent people who suffer of blood shedding and being terrorized in addition to the deaths of many innocent people in Egypt as well as what have been happened in Yemen, Libya and Tunisia, the Royal Decree issued today.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques asked Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy on the martyrs and to preserve security and stability of Arab and Islamic countries, the statement added.
