His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of the Eastern Region has approved the recommendations of the Fourth Electronic Services Forum in the Eastern Region that were submitted to His Highness by the e-Services Commission of the region.
Zareb bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, Deputy of Eastern Province Emirate assured ,according to Alyoum newspaper, the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Emir of Eastern Region, and his Vice Emir, His Highness Prince Galloway bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed to implement e-services and  their applications in process to serve citizens and residents in completion of their transactions in the Emirate of the Eastern Region and other governmental service to comfort and save them time, effort and expenditure.
Dr Abdullah bin Hussein Alqadi, Chief of the Technical Committee of the Electronic Services, Eastern Region, said that the Committee adopted a number of recommendations, which adhere to the guidance of national strategy for information technology, and process of electronic services integration and adopt appropriate mechanisms to achieve integration in plans.
Participants recommended to organize the ''5th Electronic Services Forum of Eastern Region" during the period 22 to 24 of March, 2010 entitled "The transition to a comprehensive electronic service.. successes and challenges", under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Emir of the eastern region, with an opportunity of participation from academic of various universities in Saudi Arabia and with women participation through independent hall with closed television and video network.
