E-Media: RIYADH- Kingdom hosts today the emergency meeting that will be attended by Arab health ministers for discussing how to control the spread of the H1N1 virus in the region. “The meeting will prepare a set of recommendations to be implemented within the region in the light of the increasing incidence of H1N1 in more than 18 countries,” Yacoub Al-Mazrou, deputy minister of health for preventive medicine, said yesterday. He added that Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah would chair the day’s proceedings. He pointed out that a special committee has been appointed to look into the various aspects of the meeting and respective sub-committees have been entrusted to handle the agenda in which Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah and Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa will address the delegates in addition to review the epidemic conditions of disease and proposed procedures to confront it.
