Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques wants all graduates given jobs

Jeddah, SPA:
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session held at Al-Salam Palace here yesterday.
At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the talks he held with King Abdullah II of Jordan, reaffirming the depth of brotherly relations binding the two countries and the keenness to promote cooperation between them, and that the Kingdom is standing beside its sisterly the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in every way that may secure the mutual interest of the two fraternal peoples.
He, also, briefed the Cabinet on the content of a message he received from the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.
Following the session, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said, in a press statement he made to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), that the session has listened to a number of reports on the current events and their fallouts on the Arab arena, stressing the importance of giving priority to the national interests above any other goals in order to achieve security and stability and to stem bloodshed.
In the context of the Cabinet's follow-up of the international endeavors aiming at reviving the peace process in the Middle East, the Cabinet expressed welcome to the Republic of France's initiative to launch Palestinian-Israeli negotiations on the basis of Israeli withdrawal to the borders of 1967, to start negotiations on borders and security, to pave the way for tackling the other crucial issues ahead among which the topic of Al-Quds within a limited period and reaching the goal of establishing the independent Palestinian state in the context of two-states solution within a timetable not to exceed a year.
On the other hand, the Cabinet congratulated the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization Ban Ki Moon on the occasion of being re-elected for another term, wishing him all success and luck to carry on performing his duties in order to secure peace, security and stability for the world’s peoples.
On the local affairs, the Minister pointed out that the Cabinet has congratulated the graduates, males and females, in all stages of education, and that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has directed to provide all opportunities to enroll graduates, males and females, of general secondary education certificate in universities, colleges and institutes of their choices, and to provide employment opportunities for all graduates and job-seekers, showing the importance of continuing efforts exerted in both public and private sectors in order to implement the noble royal order no: A/121 dated 3/7/1432H.
Following that, Dr. Khoja said the Cabinet has proceeded to discuss its agenda and issued the following decisions:
1-  The Cabinet approved payments scales of health and military jobs.
2- The Cabinet approved paying those at health and military scales the similar allowances paid to their civilian counterparts.
3- Health bodies affiliated to military sectors shall provide housing for physicians and dentists through implementing housing building projects. Till that is ready, the relevant body shall provide housing units and conclude contracts in the name of the physicians and dentists. While the hiring payment shall be funded by the allocation of hiring, the annual cost of a single unit shall not exceed the sum of SR 50,000.
The Cabinet approved a request of the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior to add the Director General of Anti-Narcotics to the membership of the National Committee of Anti-Narcotics.
The Cabinet authorized the Minister of Justice - or his deputy - to talk with the French side on a draft agreement in the domain of judicial relations between the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Justice in the Republic of France and to sign it.
Having reviewed a report submitted by the President of King Abdulaziz City for Sciences and Technology on amending paragraph (C) of item (1/8) of the National Plan to Respond to Radioactive and Nuclear Emergencies (NPRRNE) issued by the Cabinet resolution no: (263) dated 1/9/1429, the Cabinet approved amending paragraph (C) of item (1/8) to read as follows: 'This plan is to be reviewed by NPRRNE, on a periodic basis, that is once per annum in the first three years following its approval, and then once every two years, and the committee may suggest amending it, and the amendment is to be approved by the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior.'
 The Cabinet approved appointments at Rank 14 of the following:
1-  Yousuf bin Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Khizaim appointed to the post of plenipotentiary minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2- Adnan bin Mahmud bin Muhammad Bustaji appointed to the post of plenipotentiary minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3- Nasser bin Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Dahmash appointed to the post of Secretary General of Court at the Ministry of Justice.
4- Dr. Marwan bin Hassan bin Muhammad Ismail appointed to the post of Legal Counselor at the Secretariat General of the Cabinet.
