Jeddah - Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable to Mahmoud Abbas, President of the Palestinian National Authority and members of the 6th Fatah Movement Congress, Saudi Press Agency reported.
In his own name and on behalf of more than one billion Muslims and Arabs, the monarch warned that the Palestine issue is currently on the verge of a dark tunnel.
He recalled that late President Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement has one day triggered the Arab and Muslim national spirit of steadfast and resistance. In this regard, Fatah is a Palestine, Arab and Muslim signal which also resembles all Palestine factions and people without exemption, the King said.
He also called on Palestinian leaders and individuals to beware inter-difference and hatred.
The monarch frankly declared that Palestinian rivals were over the recent history detrimental to the Palestinian issue more than the Israeli enemy.Since you are divided and warring each other, it would be impossible for the entire world community to create an independent Palestinian state, he
added.
He reminded Palestinian factions of the meeting and commitments they had in Makkah before himself, urging them once more for unifying their ranks and healing their injuries.
However, I see that the new Palestinian independent state is, no doubt, imminent, he concluded his message.
