Customs seizes 5 million tablets, 30 kilograms of hashish

E-Media Riyadh - Director General of Public Relations and Spokesman of Customs Abdullah bin Saleh Al-kharboosh said that customs at a number of land, air and sea entry points managed during the months of July and August of this year, 2009, to seize a total of more than 5 million narcotic tablets, more than 30 kilograms of hashish, two kilograms of pure heroin, 4 kilograms of cocaine and more than 10,000 bottles of wine. According to Saudi Press Agency, Customs spokesman highlighted the role of customs officers in all customs outlets and use of modern methods in detection of contrabands, in cooperation and continuous coordination between Customs and the Directorate General for Narcotics Control in this area.
