Riyadh - Dr. Jubarah bin Eid Al-Suraiseri, Minister of Transport of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, lead his country's delegation to the Extraordinary meeting of the Arab Transport Ministers scheduled for Thursday at the Arab League's headquarters in Cairo as well as tomorrow's bilateral meetings to discuss an executive working paper on the resolutions of the Arab economic, developmental and social summit held in Kuwait last January.
The meeting's agenda will discuss various topics such as achieving sea, land and air transport networks between Arab countries as essential ways of trade, tourism and investment and preparation of general plans to link the Arab states to main lines of roads, railways and financing link projects on a commercial basis with the participation of private sector, Arab and regional funding institutions.
The Kingdom's delegation in these meetings, includes representatives of Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Industry, Customs, Saudi Ports Authority, Saudi Railways Organization, General Authority for Civil Aviation and the General Administration of Traffic in addition to the Ministry of Transport.
