GCC Interior Ministers' 11th meeting concluded yesterday
Riyadh, SPA:
GCC Interior Ministers' meeting concluded yesterday with a press statement. The Ministers expressed their great gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz for hosting this 11th consultative meeting. They also expressed their gratitude for hospitability naming especially the second Deputy To Premier prince Naif bin Abdulaziz and his assistants who exerted great efforts for organizing this meeting.
The ministers welcomed peace return achieved in the borderline between the kingdom and Yemen assuring their support to the kingdom's position and its procedures taken to defend its territories and reiterating their support to Yemen's security.
They also pointed out the potentials of Saudi Security Corps and their continuous success in pursuing and controlling terror cells in addition to overcoming any hostile plans organized against security of the Kingdom.
The Ministers expressed their appreciation to Bahrain's security perspectives delivered to supreme council in its 30th round which has reflected its keen interest in developing Gulf Cooperation Council countries in reference to security issues.
While the Ministers appreciated Emirates' police, they deliberated track of security cooperation during the last period especially that a lot of security events arouse regionally and internationally. They also expressed their content on achievements made in this regard which may improve security joint march.
