SGS detected tremor measuring 3.4 in Harat Al-Shaqah

E-Media: Riyadh - National Network Stations of Saudi Geological Survey (SGS) detected a tremor measuring (3.4) on the Richter scale, in depth of 7.2 meters. SGS said the earth tremor occurred during the period from12:00pm on Thursday until 12:00pm on Friday in addition to a number of mild tremors measuring less than 3 degrees on the Richter scale were detected, Saudi Press Agency stated. SGS pointed out that no volcanic fumes were detected, and the thermal measurements are normal, with differences in the values of radon concentration in groundwater wells and there was no widening in the earth cracks associated with the seismic activity in Harat Al-Shaqah.
