Ministry of labor ready to launch e-employment services

E-Media: Riyadh - Under the direction of the Ministry of Labor for development information system of labor and building an integrated database on the labor market, the ministry is currently preparing to launch employment services, which include records for job seekers include their qualifications and background data. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor for Planning and Development Dr. Saad bin Mufarrij Al-Huqbani, pointed out, according to Saudi Press Agency, that the electronic services provided by the ministry during the coming period will feature a developed and advanced services related to employment including the service of building curricula vitae of job applicants, selecting of available jobs, having information about the vacant posts in the private sector so that the job seekers (men and women) in the regions or governorates can register easily. Dr. Al-Huqbani confirmed that the paradigm shift the ministry witnessed in electronic services will also resolve many of the questions that taking place in the labor market such as determining the number of employees classified according to sectors, jobs and occupations and nationalities, men and women and data of new employees in the labor market . He pointed out that the ministry's efforts to develop the electronic system would also work to maximize synergies between the ministry and other government agencies to contribute in the implementation of employment strategy in Saudi Arabia.
