Health Minister to open Gulf Conference on outbreaks of swine flu

Riyadh - Health Minister Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah will open on Saturday, in  presence of Secretary-General of Gulf Cooperation Council, Mr.  Abdulrahman Al-Attiyah, the Gulf Scientific Conference for Study Precautionary Measures against outbreaks of swine flu, at Makarim Hall in Marriott Hotel in Riyadh.
The official spokesman of Ministry of Health, Dr. Khaled bin Mohamed Marglani, according to "Al-Riyadh" newspaper , said that the meeting scheduled to review the ways to confront swine flu and discuss a mechanism and preparations to face its symptoms and causes , adding that experts from Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, US will participate in the conferene as well as the Head Office of World Health Organization(WHO) in Geneva, Regional Office of WHO for the Middle East, and global research centers in Canada and Washington University, in addition to the participation of all GCC ministries of health.
