Dammam - The civil defense director in Eastern Province, Lt. General Hamid bin Saif Al -Juaid warns of  a real disaster on some cities and provinces in the Eastern Region, especially Dammam, during heavy rainfall in the absence of the competent authorities to take adequate measures to prevent disasters and to save the lives of people before properties.
In a statement  to "Al-Yaum" newspaper , Lt. General Al-Juaid said that the endangered places during heavy rainfall represent in Dammam's three tunnels, which lack many of safety factors such as ladders , alarm and warnings and possibility of sinking one of tunnel s or full collapse in case of  increase heavy rainfall.
