Court of Cassation approved a legal resolution issued by Riyadh General Court to prison a criminal for 4 years and to be beaten with 800 lashes as he was convicted to electronically defalcate an amount of SR 15700 from another person’s bank account.
Riyadh Police received a report claimed by a Saudi citizen declaring that his account at a local bank was robbed after somebody had electronically defalcated SR 15700. The criminal used Internet to break the bank account to draw some money and paying services invoices, the claimant said.
After communicating with relevant authorities, Riyadh Police took the appropriate precautions and lately managed to jail the convict.
