Jeddah. Jeddah Municipality has issued 522 new electronic building licenses and electronically renewed  443 licenses that included a number of commercial and residential projects.
The Director General of building licenses Eng. Omar Al Himedan told the SPA that the issued licenses included various residential transactions noting that this type of transactions allowed an easy issuance of licenses and guaranteed flexibility in  changing the design and the related department in addition to early specification of obstructions caused by overflow of applications regarding the distribution of work among related engineers of the Municipality. It also provided chances for activating the work of committees in approving applications in addition to sending an email to the related Engineering Consultancy as regard to approval or disapproval of the application.
