Cabinet Calls for Intensification of Efforts to Stop Israel's Inhuman Practices Against Palestinians

Riyadh (SPA). At the conclusion of its weekly meeting chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at Yamamah Palace, Riyadh, the Cabinet called on the International Community to take a firm stand about the Israeli threats against Palestinians, Lebanon and Syria and to intensify efforts to stop the continuation of the Israeli inhuman practices against the Palestinian people and stop the arbitrary arrests and air strikes on the Gaza Strip and insulting the Islamic sanctities and stop the implementation of policies and schemes aimed at Judaization of Jerusalem. The Cabinet also expressed sorrow and condemned the terrorist explosions in Iraq that killed hundreds of innocent people stressing the Kingdom's solid stance and rejection of terrorism whatever its source and regardless of its position. The Kingdom is looking forward to see that the efforts of the Iraqi government has succeeded in achieving security and stability in that country. Locally, the Council approved a Memorandum of Understanding on military cooperation between the Saudi Ministry of Defense and Aviation and Egypt's Ministry of Defense which was signed in Riyadh and Cairo on 9/4/1430H, The Council also approved the final account of the Human Resources Development Fund for the fiscal year (1427/1428) and approved aother Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in the field of Telecommunications, Information Technology and e-mail between the Saudi Ministry of Communications& Information Technology and Tunis' Ministry of Communication Technologies, signed in Riyadh on 13/1/1430H corresponding to 10/1/2009. The Council also approved the amendment to Articles XII and V of the Convention establishing the International Monetary Fund approved by Royal Decree No. (5/1/17/2571) dated 18/12/1376 AH.
