Riyadh, e-Media:
The National Center for e-learning and Distance Learning at Ministry of Higher Education, has lately launched the service of virtual classrooms through the system JUSUR. This will offer more remote education programs linking students with educational staff from world-class universities in addition to providing high quality remote training courses.
This service license  provides any educational member at Saudi Universities registered within JUSUR System to utilize all its advantages and benefits. The service benefits include audio-video communications, in-writing conversation, multimedia and files sharing among users, in addition to the white panel feature which enables education staff to upload presentations to be illustrated directly to students.
Dr. Meshan Al-Otaibi, Dean of Remote Education at Taibah University, pointed out that his University has been one of the first Saudi Universities which applied virtual classrooms service where lectures on Islamic culture were delivered to Saudi delegated students at Pennsylvania State University of America during the second semester of this year. The University has attempted to utilize this service at the National center for e-Learning where a number of general and specialized materials are to be delivered at branches of the University, he stated. The university attempts also to implement JUSUR system for e-Learning at all distance educational programs at colleges of Arts and Human sciences.
