PC to be taught as a main curriculum next academic year

Riyadh, e-Media: Dr. Garu Allah bin Saleh Al-Ghamdy, Consultant and IT General Supervisor at Ministry of Education, stated that the Ministry of Finance has lately required Ministry of Education to calculate the number of PC laboratories needed to be established so that PC curriculum can be taught at all preparatory stages next academic year. On the other hand, he pointed out that his Ministry has been attempting to provide all the Kingdom's schools amounting to 33 thousand throughout more than 3600 cities and villages, with Internet. He said that the Education Ministry has prepared a comprehensive strategic plan to execute a lot of IT projects i.e.; FARIS project, Educational Management Project, and GIS project. The Ministry has been attempting to be non-centralized so that potentials at all Directorates and schools can be well improved and enhanced, he added.
