Riyadh – Under the auspices of Eng Mohammed Jamil Mulla, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, the secretariat of National Communications and Information Technology Plan (NCITP) organizes today a workshop entitled "The vision and coordination for implementing National Communications and Information Technology Plan " at the Ministry headquarters in King Abdul Aziz Telecommunications Complex in Riyadh.
The workshop aims to provide a deeper perception of National Communications and Information Technology National (NCITP), and projects that have been completed during the year 1428/1429H (2008), set up the appropriate frameworks for further cooperation and coordination to achieve the objectives of the plan through presentation of transformation indicators and target values, recognizing status of the project, and automated system for following up the plan's implementation and its projects.
The workshop also discusses the contribution in supporting the project managers to adopt and choose the appropriate indicators to measure progress of implementation and verification of their suitability to reflect a clear view of the achieved goals set for conducting these projects in accordance with the standards and indicators of performance used globally.
This workshop will cover a number of related topics, including a summary presentation of the plan, an overview of the statistical description model of the draft plan's charter, presentation of project schedules and progress of work and the names of implementing agencies, follow-up status of project, enhancing ways of relationship between the Secretariat of the plan in the Ministry and the various involved agencies in implementing the plan.
The coordinators of those projects related to the implementation of the plan, and project managers, directors of departments and sections at the relevant authorities participate in this workshop.
