Achieving directions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques king Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Ministry of Culture and Information launched Saudi TV & radio channels and the Saudi Press Agency on Internet. Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohee Al-Dein Khouja, Minister of Culture and Information pointed out that such an attempt has been envisioned by the Monarch to help Muslims and Saudi Students abroad to be on contact with different perspectives of development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
being accessible on www.sm.gov.sa, people all over the world can continuously know about and follow up the Kingdom's news, the Minister stated. He confirmed that such a comprehensive coverage will include the 9 TV Channels and radio programs in addition to other European and world programs.
The Minister of Culture and Information said that his Ministry's IT Department has utilized a uniquely first-time sophisticated technology for completely archiving TV and Radio Channels in addition to SPA, adding that will be a National Memory for all.
