KAU holds Scientific Meeting on Asset Management

Jeddah- The Islamic Economics Research Centre of King Abdulaziz University (KAU) holds today in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics and Administration, a scientific meeting on asset management from Islamic perspectives in the light of World financial crises at KAU main Auditorium Hall.
Head of Islamic Economics Research Centre, Dr. Abdullah Radwan, pointed out that the meeting includes keynote addresses from prominent speakers of foreign universities and experts of financial institutions and consulting centers in conjunction with the relevant academics, the University's e-site reported.
During the meeting, a number of financial and economic topics discussed, including strategic asset management in the future in light of the experience of Islamic finance.
He added that King Abdul Aziz University had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Al-Khabeer trading company in order to provide care and material support for scientific research and academic specializing in the field of banking services compliant with Islamic law, in addition to training the national cadres and male and female students of the Faculty of Economics and Administration, as well as to establish an investment fund to finance the University's future programs.
