E-Media: Abha - Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Assir Region, opened the fifth Literary Forum of Gulf Cooperation Council Countries, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information under the theme "Changes in the Gulf Society Reflected in Literary Works". The three-day forum with the participation of 50 delegates from Gulf countries has been organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Abha Literary Club and will discuss various factors that influenced the region’s literature, Saudi Press Agency reported. A participant in the event, Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Subayyil, the undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Information for cultural affairs said that the economic changes over the past two decades have brought numerous changes in the region and the absence of research centers to observe such changes in the region. On his part, Deputy Assistant of GCC Secretary General pointed out the care of GCC Secretary General and his support for such events, expressing his hope to motivate the cultural events in a joint cultural work.
