The National Center for online teaching and distance education organizes a set of training courses for academic staff at Saudi universities within the framework of utilizing foreign expertise.
Higher Education Ministry Advisor and Manger of the Center Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohamed Al-Moqren pointed out that such workshops are envisioned to support the online teaching programs at Saudi Universities. Being organized in America, South Korea, Malaysia and Japan, such programs are planned to provide participants with expertise, knowledge, and information relating to online teaching in addition to illustrating advanced technologies of distance teaching there, he added.
Dr. Al-Moqren pointed out that such courses will cover different perspectives including improvement of educational process, illustrating best policies applied in online education in addition to discussing trends in this regard.
