Riyadh - King Saud University (KSU) has officially joined a global scientific bloc in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship led by the University of California, Berkeley.
The group, according to Saudi Press Agency, includes more than 23 universities and academic scientific institutes in America, Europe, Asia and Australia, including Stanford University; Johns Hopkins University; the University of Illinois; the University of Michigan and the University of Singapore.
The supervisor of Innovation Center at the university, Dr. Naif bin Abdurrahman Al-Ajlan, as quoted by Saudi Press Agency, said that KSU's accession to this strategic alliance because of its global status and achievements in multidisciplinary scientific researches, indicating that the message of this alliance is based on three main axes: promoting and patronage of innovation and entrepreneurship, addressing the most urgent and meaningful problems, and contributing in new industries.
