Website of King Abdullah's Initiative for Arabic Content launched

E-Media: Dammam - President of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Dr. Mohammed Suwaiyel has inaugurated the official website of King Abdullah's initiative for Arabic content (www.econtent.org.sa), in the presence of a number of city officials. Dr. Suwaiyel, according to "Al-Riyadh" newspaper stressed that the initiative was supported by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which one of its most prominent objectives is to preserve the Arab identity and heritage, support the existence of Arabic language on the Internet, as well as to enable all segments of Arab society to deal with information in their own language, in order to bridge the digital gap and giving knowledge to all members of society. He added that the goal of website is to define the initiative and clarifies its goals and participants, the website will highlight the initiative's projects and latest developments, available tools and software. It will be updated regularly with all new topics about initiative and its projects and special events.
