Kingdom renews its membership in the Council of ITU for four years

Riyadh - SPA: Saudi Arabia renewed its membership in the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) for Asia and the Agiwnossia for the next four years after winning yesterday's vote in plenary meeting of the Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union, which was held in Jawaladachar, Mexico, where the election of the ITU Council Member States of () for the next four years was don. Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohamed Jamil Bin Ahmed Mulla lifted congratulations to the Saudi Government on this win, which came as a result of the support of telecommunications sector and information technology in the Kingdom of from the leadership of this country, and as a result of the high status of the Kingdom in the international community, also His Excellency thanked STC and Mobily, which have supported the Kingdom campaign to run for this seat, as well as all Member States in the International Telecommunication Union, which voted for the Kingdom in this election.
