SCTA Launches an e-System for issuing Travel Agencies licenses
Riyadh, E-media:
HRH prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), launched lately at the commission headquarter an electronic system for issuing licenses of Tour & Travel Agencies.
After launching the system, he asserted the importance of such a tendency adopted by the Commission towards E-transactions which will undoubtedly help both the Commission and the private sector to develop their correlated relationships through advanced technologies. As mentioned on the SCTA Web page, he also confirmed his keen interest in sustaining distinguished national competencies to be continuously developed.
This program has come as a part of a series of E-government applications executed by the Commission which has reached advanced stages in this field. In addition, the program is regarded as the fourth one after the Commission activated other systems related to tour operators, tourist guides, and time-sharing.
This newly launched program is envisioned to provide an easy contact and communication channel, through which any customer whoever wishes to get a tour & travel license or attempts to renew his old one, will apply electronically to the Commission and submit all required documents online, with no need to visit its headquarter or branches.
