King patronizes SCMS' graduation ceremony

RIYADH - Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz patronized yesterday the ceremony held by the Saudi Commission for Medical Specializations (SCMS) to graduate the 12th batch of physicians, dentists and pharmacists who get the Saudi specialization certificate (doctorate) and Saudi fellowship. The graduates' number reached 407 graduates in 34 specializations.
Health Minister revealed that the king, who inaugurated the ceremony, would support the SCMS budget with infusion of SR15 million per year for the next three years in recognition of its role in capacity building and professional development of the health care professionals, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) stated.
