Riyadh - Portal and e-services Administration , Deanship of e-transactions and communication in King Saud University (KSU) has launched  the direct broadcast system for the university's online events on the Internet.
The service has been tested on Tuesday to broadcast the final ceremony of deanship's preparatory year in the university, which last for two hours, during which more than 900 users watched the ceremony.
Dean of e-transaction and communication, Dr. Yousef A. Al ohali,  according to "Al-Riyadh" newspaper said that the university has used the latest techniques in online broadcasting, which do not require installing any additional software on the user's computer, as it ensures the broadcast in terms of voice and image transparency, adding that  the online broadcast system provides more than one event at the same time.
For his part, Eng. Esam Alwagait, Director for Portal & E-Services illustrated that  a new site will be provided for registering all events which have been broadcasted at the university; to enable the visitors of  the university's site to watch events online, and to be watched again online.
