Second Gulf Conference on Transportation begins in Riyadh

E-Media: Riyadh - Under the patronage of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, the two-days Second Gulf Conference on Transportation begins today in Riyadh. Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Moqbil, Undersecretary of Ministry of Transport and Chairman of Gulf Road Engineering Society, Chairman of Conference's Supreme Committee said, according to "Al-Riyadh" newspaper, that the conference would discuss a number of transport affairs; the application of intelligent transportation systems in the field of public transport, traffic and safety management, developing public transport system using different patterns as well as reviewing the successful experiments and solutions in the field of public transport. He pointed out that the arrangement of this conference in Riyadh comes in line with activating the GCC joint action and to benefit from successful experiences and exchange of experiences between the GCC countries.
