King Abdullah inaugurates GPYW's headquarter At Janadriyah
Riyadh, SPA:
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, king Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz will inaugurate soon the permanent headquarter of the General Presidency for Youth Welfare during the national festival of cultural heritage of the Kingdom "Janadriyah" in its 25th turn, after the Presidency has completed all preparations needed to participate in the events of the festival for this year 1431H.
The Presidency headquarter was established in "Janadriyah" with architectural designs that comply with the general feel and look of the festival. Achieving the objectives of the festival appearing in sustaining Saudi cultural heritage, the newly established headquarter contains a number of sections where the presidency and its related agencies plan to illustrate photos, properties and visual shows that narrate the history of Saudi youth and sports mission.
On this occasion, HRH Prince Sultan Bin Fahd Bin Abdulaziz, President General for Youth Welfare, confirmed that sports and youth sector in Saudi Arabia have been proud that King Abdulla bin Abdulaziz will inaugurate this permanent headquarter within the events of Janadriyah festival this year. He added that king Abdullah always attaches keen interest to such a great cultural event which undergoes continuous developments every year. He pointed out that the King's attention is embodied through the continuously active innovations of the diversified events that bring out the cultural heritage of this virtuous country and its people.
Among his distinctive contributions to push the cultural movement forward and sustain the human heritage all over the world, King Abdullah declared his approval to patronize a world prize that will be launched next year to honor distinctive researchers who are concerned with heritage and culture the world wide, tilted "King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz's world Prize for Heritage and Culture", He stated.
On the other hand, HRH Prince Sultan Bin Fahd asserted that establishing this headquarter is an outcome of the Presidency's keen interest to have a vital role in sports and youth activities in the kingdom within this great cultural event. He added that such a participation comes in compliance with the yearly developing festival which enjoys a special interest of the Custodian of two holy mosques, Crown Prince and the Second Deputy.
