Kingdom participates NAM Foreign Ministers Meeting

E-Media: Sharam Elsheikh - The Foreign Ministers of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) countries began a meeting yesterday in Sharam Elsheikh city, Egypt to prepare for the 15th summit of the leaders of non--aligned countries due to be held on Wednesday and Thursday. The Kingdom's delegation to the two-day meeting is led by Prince Dr Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud al-Kabeer, the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) for multi-party relations, Saudi Press Agency stated. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, whose country is the current NAM chair, addressed the opening session and briefed the ministers on the steps taken by his country and NAM in the past three years. He underlined the importance of pursuing efforts to prevent conflicts based on the U.N. charter and international law.
