Riyadh - The Center for Excellence in Information Assurance at King Saud University held "The First Forum for Information Technology Directors to Identify and Address the Risks of Information Security"
last Monday 23 Shawaal 1430H corresponding to 12 October 2009.
The director of the Center, Dr. Khalid Bin Sulaiman Al-Ghathbar, according to "Al-Riyadh" newspaper, talked at the beginning of the forum about the most outstanding developments in information security in 2009, studying the state of information security in Saudi organizations and its current status and ways of cooperation between governmental and private sectors to stand against thieves of electronic piracy.
The forum also discussed the ways of development information security field, intensifying studies and research and community awareness of the risks facing individuals. The forum was attended by IT managers and decision makers in more than 80 government, military and private agencies.
