Chairman of Royal commission of Jubail and Yanbu meets Japanese Sciences and Technology Association Head

Riyadh, eMedia: Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Thunyan AL Saud the Chairman of Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu and chairman of the Board of SABIC, received yesterday at his office in Riyadh, Koji Aoumy, the Japanese ex-Minister of Finance and the Founder and Head of the Japanese Association for Sciences and Technology. Prince Saud threw light on the role of the Commission in enriching researches and means of exploiting latest technologies. This has been achieved through academic organizations of the Commission in addition to worldwide centers of research and development related to the Saudi Basic Industries Corporation "SABIC", he said. In this respect, both the Commission and the Corporation are looking forward continuous cooperation with the Japanese Association for the benefit of the two countries. On his part, Koji Aoumy illustrated various activities of the Japanese Association pointing out that it has been dedicated to development of science and technology in communities through knowledge share among member countries of the Association. As the Association will hold its annual convention in the Japanese city of Kyoto in next October, he wishes Saudi will have a prominent participation.
