Rare full-scale lunar eclipse takes place Wednesday evening, astronomers forecast

Riyadh, SPA:
A rare all-out lunar eclipse will take place Wednesday evening on a vast worldwide area, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, astronomers forecast.
They said the eclipse which will last for more than 100 minutes in the Kingdom skies was unprecedented in the Kingdom since 40 years and might be repeated in 2076.
It will cover all the Arab area and could be seen in America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia, they added.
Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Saab, Supervisor of the National Center at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, said the all-out eclipse phase will start at 22:22:30 and ends at 02:00:45 early morning the next day.
