Phase 2 of sewage recycling contract in Riyadh signed

Minister of Water & Electricity signed phase sewage recycling project. 240,000 M3 per day treated sewage will be available for irrigation of farms and parks. The project will reduce water consumption, preserve the environment and increase green surfaces. Some facilities including King Abdullah Financial Center and Prince Nura University will be supplied with treated sewage. The project is one of the important alternatives to support vegetation and confront water scarcity challenge. The total cost of phase 1 and phase 2 is SR 724,974,648.
