GCC leaders begin their summit in Kuwait
Kuwait (SPA ) - Leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states started their 30th summit here on Monday chaired by Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad A-Jabir Al-Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait.
The Gulf leaders discuss a host of political, security, economic, social and environmental issues of mutual interest.
The Emir extended his felicitations to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on the return of the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud "safe and sound" to his homeland.
The Emir of Kuwait delivered a speech in which he rejected the aggression launched by infiltrators against Saudi Arabia and said, "We all reject the aggression of some infiltrators into the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, targeting its sovereignty and its security. "We reiterate our condemnation and re-probation of such aggressions and hostilities," underlined Sheikh Sabah who extended overwhelming support for the Saudi measures in defending the sovereignty and security of the Kingdom.
